Engulfing context filters from the Reversal Studio

Three checks we add so engulfing labels do not crowd every sideways session.

Bullish and bearish engulfing structures appear often when ranges are tight. Studio participants add three context checks: was the prior move directional for at least five bars, does the engulfing body clear the prior body by a meaningful margin, and does the next candle respect or reject the idea?

None of these filters invent an edge. They keep a written rule set from firing on noise. We rehearse them on historical charts before anyone applies them live.
